What are the weight limits for a ring sling?Updated 4 hours ago

Ring slings have a weight limit of 7 to 35 pounds, so generally, you can use ring slings from birth up through toddlerhood!

Both the ASTM International and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) don’t set an official weight limit for starting ring sling use, but they do recommend that babies are “full-term” before being carried in a sling. If your baby is under 7 pounds or was not full-term at birth, we do recommend talking to your doctor before using your sling for your newborn to get the all-clear!
